Polyester Fibreglass Rod Pultrusions

Superior Physical and Electrical Properties

Glastic® rod (bar) pultrusions are made from fibreglass-reinforced thermoset polyester.  The continuous-filament fibreglass roving of each solid rod provides excellent strength.  All rod pultrusions feature:

High physical strength
Excellent dielectric properties
Dimensional stability
Resistance to common solvents
Heat resistance
High strength to weight ratio
Low water absorption

Grade MTS (stocked item)
Most economical system for electrical use; designed for 155°C service, 50 000 psi tensile and 80 000 psi flexural strength.

Grade SG-200 (available on request)
Highest temperature - rated for 210°C service.  Excellent thermal endurance.  Ideal replacement for silicone rod.
